Town Center Plaza and Merchants Help Grant A Wish For Teenager
Town Center Plaza and 16 of its merchants helped fulfill a dream shopping spree wish for 17-year-old G´Na Johnson in conjunction with the Make A Wish Foundation this week.
Johnson was selected as a Make A Wish child through the Foundation that grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Sherri Jacobson, a volunteer for the organization, selected Town Center Plaza “because it has everything we could imagine in one location”. She mapped out a strategy to allow maximum shopping time.
Johnson’s day began with limousine service to the shopping center. She was accompanied by her grandmother and a friend as well as Jacobson. The group enjoyed lunch at the Bristol Seafood Grill before continuing the outing. “Merchants went out of their way to offer the items that were on her list and provide personal shoppers and dedicated dressing rooms,” said Jacobson.
Town Center Plaza provided Johnson with a $500 Town Center Plaza Gift Card to enhance her shopping experience. “We were glad to help fulfill her wish,” commented Leonard Corsi, General Manager, “We wanted her to have an excellent experience.”
